In May 2006, while Bob Peters was selling his special order color (brown)1970 SX W-32 on ebay, Bob received the following anonymous email.
"My mom almost bought a left over pink 71 SX convertible when I was 16 years old. Nortell Olds in Chicago ordered a run of 50 SX convertibles, all in Playboy Pink. I had to talk her out of it because I couldn't be seen driving a pink car. We ended up with an orange 1972 442."
SX455 believes this may be true, but we would like to verify this fact. Nortell Olds dealer in Chicago did exists. Does anyone ever recall seing a 1971 Pink SX in the Chicago Area? If so, please contact BPeters@SX455.com
