Positraction was an option on the SX--option code G80.
Glad your car is running well with the Pertronix. That would've been my choice but my car had an aftermarket ignition when I bought it so the original distributor is long gone. I wish the prior owner would've kept it original and added the Pertronix kit. Oh well....

Hey everyone. Just wondering if my 71 convertible should’ve had possi traction or was that an option in 71. I have a lot of documentation on my car. So I know it’s SX. I just don’t know if was replaced. Oh and thank you to whoever chimed in on my HEI post. Cars running sweet
