NEW Restoration Questions

Here's some pics for you. Hope this helps.

I can take some pictures for you of mine but I had a cruise control unit on it before and that has been partially removed. Terry recently did a resto on his engine compartment and may have some nice detailed shots as well. I will get back to this post.

I have had my 70 SX since 1995. All origional drive train. Well the car came with a second 1970 intake manifold and 4 barrel carb from a 442 . I m had the carb rebuilt and manifold cleaned and painted but never used it until this summer.

I unfortunately had a battery explode under my hood damaging lots of components and destroying the paint. Cost about $3,500. Well since everything had to be disassembled and reassembled, i gave into temptation to try out the 4 barrel. Mechanic said no problem. I agreed to his fee and requested he take plenty of pics so in had them when it would be restored back to a 2 barrel.

The 4 barrel kicks @$$ but time to but the 2 barrel back on.

Well remember the pics I asked for? Never got them. Now I don’t have much in detail to do the job correctly.

Any one that can send me numerous pics of the origional setup ( fuel lines, linkage, mounting points etc.) they would be greatly appreciated.

My fault for not taking 20-50 pics before I sent it to the shop.

Live and learn.

I will share what I have now and then but this won’t help me get her back to origional. So sad!!!
