NEW Restoration Questions

Battery Cables
Author Last Post
That's a good question. I have seen both and sometimes both were included on the same car with the positive being spring and the negative being bolt through. Two cars in particular are both 71's and both from Lansing. I believe different assembly plants used different types because this is not a specific part to Oldsmobile. Battery cables were outsourced to different vendors for the production line.
Here I am again asking a question about what is correct for the restoration of my SX. Did the battery cables have the "bolt-through" or "spring ring" terminals? Thank you for your time.
