In looking at the pictures of that car for sale, I think 27,500 is still way overpriced for what it is. I have seen much nicer cars for sale for less than that. Somebody did a lot funky stuff to this car over the years and maybe that's why the dealer is reluctant to know much about it. Stupid little stuff irks me like the right headlight bezel being mounted upside down, or all the wrong wheel well moldings on it, or maybe even that Holley double pumper carburetor and the coil being bolted to the firewall. But more importantly are the safety issues noticeable on it. The tires are approximately 20 years old, the hydraulic brake line running down the inside of the frame is spliced together which is illegal in most states and will never pass a safety inspection. Who know what else was done when I see things hacked like that. I would say that its an easy project for someone to fix, but in no way is it a top dollar car. If it has the original motor and trans, it's probably a fair deal for somewhere under 20K.

Hello everyone, Just letting you know that there is a 1971 Cutlass Supreme SX for sale at Classic Auto Showplace in Troy, MI. It is triple black but it originally had a gold exterior. Asking price is $34,950 but I had him down to $27,500. It has power windows, power steering, power brakes, A/C (but the compressor and bracket are missing), tic-toc-tach, full set of gauges and bucket seats with the dual gate shift. The dealer doesn't seem to have much information about the history of this car, though. GOOD LUCK!!!
