Water leak in cowl/firewall area
Author Last Post
Have you checked to make sure it is not coming in through the windshield seal?
I have a 1971 SX coupe, and when it rains I'm getting water coming in the cowl/firewall area. It also seems to come down the side, behind the "kick panel" to the right of the front passenger footwell. I'm hoping to remedy the problem without disassembling half the car as I've seen threads describing on other Olds forums! (I'm not as handy as others on this site.) Any input is appreciated. Sadly, my SX has to live outside, and I'm finding that keeping it covered (to keep it dry inside) means I don't drive it as much as I would if I could just grab the keys and hop in.
